Project Description
Farmakom is one of the largest exporters in Serbia. Since 2006, the group has invested over EUR140 million in its operations in order to add capacity and improve productivity and environmental standards. The IFC project involves both an investment component and a corporate governance advisory component. The investment component seeks to (i) provide much needed financing to a leading private sector group in Serbia to restructure its debt, (ii) fund some capital investments, and (iii) finance additional working capital requirements in line with the projected growth in 2011-13 to increase utilization of completed investments.
