Project Description
Globaltrans Investment Plc, a company organized and existing under the laws of of the Republic of Cyprus together with its subsidiaries (“GTI”) is the largest privately owned freight rail group operating in Russia; second only to state-owned Russian Railways (‘RZD”) and its affiliates by number of owned rolling stock. The GTI’s core activities are (i) freight rail transportation, (ii) railcar leasing, and (iii) certain ancillary services provided in Russia, the CIS countries and the Baltics. The project provides for acquisition of gondola (open top) cars (the “Project”) by GTI’s 100% owned subsidiaries: Sevtekhnotrans (“STT”) and/or New Forwarding Company (“NFC”).
