Project Description

Africa Infrastructure Investment Fund 2 (“AIIF2” or the Fund) is a private equity style infrastructure fund seeking to raise US$600 million to US$1 billion for investment in unlisted equity and equity-like investments in infrastructure in Africa, with a focus on sub-Saharan Africa. The Fund will aim to make investments in which it can exercise significant influence, with the aim of delivering moderate capital growth and sustainable return over the long term. The target assets will include, but not be limited to toll roads, thermal power generation, wind power farms, ports, water and sewerage utilities and social infrastructure.
