VeriSilicion has it’s primary offices in Shanghai, with satellite sales offices in Taipei and Santa Clara, California. VeriSilicon’s offices in Shanghai are located in the Zhanghjiang Hi-Tech Park in Pudong.

The project will accelerate the development of strong local IC design capability in China, and assist the Chinese IC design industry to migrate up the value chain towards more value-added high IP-content work. The project will also enable domestic Chinese companies to bring increasingly more sophisticated proprietary products to market more quickly by significantly speeding up the chip design timeline. This enables Chinese companies at all levels of the value chain in the electronics industry to compete more favorably against foreign competitors. In addition, the project has significant developmental impact by potentially creating hundreds of jobs for highly skilled IC design engineers in China and supporting a team of Chinese entrepreneurs who have built a team based on sound principles of corporate governance. IFC will add value to the company as an investor by facilitating introductions to IFC portfolio and relationship companies in related and synergistic sectors. IFC will also act as long-term financial partner, making follow-on investment available as the company expands. Further, IFC’s presence will provide comfort to international institutional investors as the company plans for an IPO in coming years. Finally, IFC’s participation will provide a demonstration effect on high-technology investments in other IFC client countries.
