Project Description
Rain Calcining Limited (RCL or the company) is an export oriented company located in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. With a capacity to produce 300,000 metric tons per year (tpy) of Calcined Petroleum Coke (CPC), it generates up to 49.5 MW of power from its power generation facility using the flue gases evolved during the calcination and combustion of green petroleum coke (GPC).
The project entails expanding production capacity to 480,000 tpy and modernizing existing production lines. The venture is scheduled to reach completion by the mid-2005.
