Project Description
Zhejiang Babei Necktie & Weaving Co. Ltd.(Babei, or the company) is a leading silk necktie and necktie fabric producer in China. It is the largest and most influential company in Shengzhou , which is the necktie production base in China with around 1000 companies engaged in the business. It has existing production facilities with a total capacity of around 2 million square meters of necktie fabric by 2002. The project will increase the company’s market presence in both the export and domestic markets. The project mainly involves:
- expanding the weaving facilities from 60 to 168 looms,
- building a new dyeing plant, and
- relocating the main facilities to a new site.
