Project Description
The project consists of setting-up a 600 sewing machine, apparel manufacturing factory in Madagascar, Cottonline S. A. (the company or cottonline), specializing in knit and woven casual wear, intimate apparel, sleep wear and active wear products for the US and European markets (the project). The company was incorporated in July 2001 and currently utilizes 300 sewing machines. IFC’s investment will be used for financing the additional capital investment needed to complete the Project and for funding a part of the working capital requirement of the project.
