Blended Finance
The proposed IFC investment aims to support Societe Diarra Negoce (“SDN” or the “Company), a Mali-based agribusiness and logistics operator, in developing a new milling complex in Banankoro, Koulikoro region (the “Project”). The Project will comprise: (i) a 300 tons-per-day wheat flour mill; (ii) 20,000 MT of grain storage capacity; and (iii) a 2.3MW solar power installation. The total Project cost is estimated at €18.6 million, covering both capital expenditure and associated working capital. The Project is expected to benefit from blended finance support through the IDA Private Sector Window (PSW) and IFC’s Concessional Capital Window (CCW), as described in the Blended Finance section.
IFC, through advisory services, will support SDN in strengthening key operational areas, specifically financial management, and food safety.
