Project Description

Boston Electrometallurgical Corporation (Boston Metal, BM, or the Sponsor) is a technology company that has developed a molten oxide electrolysis (MOE) to produce steel and high-value metals (HVM) from various ores and waste material (slag), without the use of coal, making it almost CO2 free. Although the MOE process for steel production is still under development, Boston Metal has identified a promising opportunity through its subsidiary, Boston Electrometallurgical Corporation Brazil Ltda. (BMB, or the Company), to demonstrate the economic and environmental benefits of the technology in recovering high-value metals like Niobium, Tantalum, and Tin at a commercial scale.

BMB is seeking financing for its first large-scale commercial project, with a production capacity of up to 11,000 tons per annum of HVM using MOE technology after ramp-up (the Project).
