TTI is a leading manufacturer of power tools and equipment for industrial workers in professional settings and for consumers. The Company owns a comprehensive product portfolio under 13 well-known brands, including Milwaukee, the Company’s flagship product for the professional segment. The Company’s largest shareholders are Mr. Horst Julius Pudwill and his family, who together own approximately 22% stakes in the Company. The Company’s current management team owns approximately 2.82% in the Company through a share awards scheme. The Company’s remaining approximately 75.18% shareholding are held by public shareholders.

The total Project's cost is estimated to be US$200 million, a part of which will be funded by the IFC financing of up to EUR120 million (approximately US$136 million).

The proposed IFC investment will be utilized in Viet Nam.

 No governance risks to development impacts have been identified.

 This is a Category B project according to IFC’s Policy on Environmental and Social Sustainability (2012). Key E&S issues identified include adequacy and effectiveness of the following systems and mechanisms:

(i)                 corporate- & facility-level E&S management systems (including E&S screening and risk assessment procedures);

(ii)               labor and working conditions, including OHS, Life and Fire Safety (“L&FS”) risks, workers’ grievance mechanism, freedom of association, and contractor/construction E&S management;

(iii)            management of air emissions, wastewater discharge, and solid waste;

(iv)             management of chemicals and hazardous solid waste/material;

(v)               facility Greenhouse gas (“GHG”) footprints and resource efficiencies;

(vi)             the Project’s supply chain E&S management;
