The Company is currently 55.6 percent owned by its founder and CEO, Rowolson Kuhn, with the remaining shares mostly owned by other management team members. Solengy is led by an experienced management team made up of four (4) executives with over 20 years of experience in solar system engineering, assembly, sales, and service.                                                 

 The proposed investment entails a financing package of up to US$12 million, consisting of (i) a senior IFC A loan of up to US$3 million; (ii) senior parallel loans of up to US$3 million; and (iii) an additional US$6 million in subordinated loan.                                                  

 Haiti                                                  

 This is a Category B project according to IFC’s 2012 Policy on Environmental and Social Sustainability. The E&S risks and impacts are limited, site-specific, and can be easily avoided or mitigated by adhering to generally recognized Good International Industry Practices (GIIPs) and design criteria. Key E&S issues of the project include: (i) implementation of the company’s corporate E&S management system (ESMS) and its organization capacity, in line with IFC PS requirements; (ii) fair, safe and health labor and working conditions, including occupational health and safety (OHS) and contractor’s management; (iii) waste and wastewater management (iv) stakeholder engagement and external grievance mechanism; (v) management private security.
