Randoncorp was founded in 1949 in Caxias do Sul, Brazil, and has become a global reference in the trailer, semi-trailer, and autoparts business lines. The Group is publicly listed in the Brazilian Stock Exchange (tickers: RAPT4, RAPT3) and has approximately 61% of shares in the free float. The Randon founding family, via DRAMD Participações (“DRAMD”), holds approximately 39% of the Group’s shares.

Note that Fras-Le Mobility is also publicly listed in the Brazilian Stock Exchange (ticker: FRAS3) and has approximately 34% of shares in the free float. Randoncorp owns approximately 53% of Fras-Le Mobility’s shares and the remaining 13% is owned by DRAMD directly.                                                                      

  The total Project cost is estimated at US$100 million to be financed with an A Loan of up to US$100 million.                                                                                                  

  Investments will be made at Randoncorp’s and Fras-Le’s manufacturing plants in Brazil.

 The Project will support (i) the decarbonization efforts of the Group by improving its resource efficiency for its manufacturing operations and Randoncorp's GHG emission reduction targets; (ii) a more inclusive workforce in Brazil; and (iii) occupational health and safety improvements in Brazil's car and truck manufacturing sector. Moreover, the Project will support the continued growth of the automotive industry in Brazil, in addition to enhancing the market competitiveness of the industry through demonstration and replication.
