Intco’s single largest shareholder, the founder and Chairman, Mr. Fangyi Liu (the “Sponsor”) holds a stake of 44.3%. The remaining 3.3% shares are held by ESOP and 52.4% by public shareholders.                                                  

 The total Project cost is estimated at approximately US$123 million. IFC’s proposed investment is a senior “A” loan of up to US$70 million or equivalent RMB.

This is a Category B project according to IFC's Policy on Environment and Social Sustainability (2012). Based on information reviewed by IFC, the proposed project will have limited adverse E&S impacts that are few, site specific, largely reversible and readily addressed through existing mitigation measures and good international industry practices (GIIP).  Key E&S issue and risks associated with the project include: i) Intco’s management and monitoring systems to assess and manage E&S risks and impacts from its operations, as well as those related to construction of greenfield facility in Bating, State of Selangor and the used PET related supply chain; ii) management of labor and working conditions including occupational health and safety (OHS); iii) monitoring and management of air emissions, wastewater and hazardous materials; and iv) emergency preparedness and response including fire protection.
