Project Description

 BIM Land Joint Stock Company (BIM Land or the Company) is a leading tourism property developer in Vietnam. The Company builds, sells and/or operates properties that cater to both domestic and international tourists’ needs including hotels, residences and retail space. BIM Land’s projects are all located in tourism areas such as Ha Long city in Quang Ninh province or the Phu Quoc island in Kien Giang province. Recently, the Company has expanded into neighboring Laos, where it is replicating its successful tourism property development model in Vientiane.

 

IFC is providing debt financing to the Company to support the Project which consists of: (i) the Intercontinental resort in Ha Long bay, Vietnam, comprising of a hotel and residences; (ii) the Citadines apartments and a water park in Phu Quoc island, Vietnam; and (iii) the Holiday Inn in Vientiane, Laos, comprising of a hotel, office and retail spaces.
