The proposed investment involves providing debt financing for a 158 MW greenfield wind power plant, in the Kovin municipality Serbia (the “Project”). The Project is wholly owned by Vetroelektrane Balkana d.o.o - WEBG (the “Project Company”), a limited liability company incorporated in Serbia. The capital expenditure required to implement the Project amounts to approximately EUR 300 million. Construction of the project has commenced in 2017 and commercial operations are expected to begin by Q4 2018/Q1 2019. The Project is being primarily developed by Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company PJSC (Masdar) and the generated electricity will be sold to the Serbian guaranteed supplier of electricity i.e. Elektro Privreda Srbije (EPS) under a 12-year Power Purchase Agreement.
