This will assist the Dar Al Fouad Hospital to: - expand their existing hospital in 6th of October City from 112 beds to 138 beds and establish a training center for paramedicals; - acquire an existing hospital in Cairo; and - undertake an expansion by opening outpatient clinics in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf. The Dar Al Fouad Hospital (DAF) was founded in 1995 and specializes in a number of fields, including: cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery (e.g. open heart surgery), hepatology, oncology and organ transplants. The Hospital hosts a number of international teams of visiting physicians and surgeons from the world’s most renowned medical institutions including the Cleveland Clinic Foundation (USA), Kyoto University (Japan), Samsung Medical Center (Korea) and Gustave Roussy Cancer Center (Paris, France).
