Project Description
Lebedyansky Experimental Cannery (Lebedyansky or the company) is one of the leading Russian juice and nectars manufacturers. Established in 1967, Lebedyansky (located in Lebedyan, Lipetsk region about 360km South of Moscow), produces fruit purees and concentrates from locally grown fruits, natural fruit juices, nectars, fruit drinks, and canned baby food under several well-established brands. Lebedyansky supplies markets in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Belarus.
Lebedyansky is undertaking an expansion project to:
- modernize and rationalize Lebedyansky''s production facilities;
- add new capacity in its core juice and nectars business,
- introduce new glass and plastic PET packaging,
- improve distribution by acquiring a distribution terminal in the Moscow region, and
- diversify its product portfolio via acquisitions of new businesses.
Total project cost is estimated at $87.3 million.
