The documentation includes English and Hindi versions of:

A Non-Technical Executive Summary of the environmental and social documentation.

Volume I - the Main Report that consolidates information derived from all ESIA data gathering efforts, including specialized studies (see below).

Volume II - a detailed Environmental and Social Management and Monitoring Plan that specifies what actions the sponsor will take to mitigate all adverse impacts identified in Volume 1. This volume includes the following specific action plans:

- Environmental Action Plan;
- Resettlement Action Plan;
- Community Development Plan;
- Catchment Area Treatment Plan;
- Construction Labor Management Plan;
- Emergency Response Plan;
- Fisheries Monitoring Plan; and
- Monitoring and Evaluation Plan.

Volume III - a Compendium of Specialized Studies including:

- A socio-economic impact assessment of the project inclusive of policies and procedures that the sponsor will follow to compensate any individuals whose assets or livelihoods are compromised by the project’s construction or operation;
- A hydrological study to determine the impact of the project on both the Allain and Duhangan river basins, and to establish a minimum flow for the maintenance of aquatic ecology and existing agricultural production (e.g., small scale irrigation systems);
- A detailed fisheries study of the Allain and Duhangan basins to determine the impact of the project on fish populations and identify appropriate mitigation measures;
- A forestry and watershed management report that describes what steps the sponsor will take to reduce the risk of deforestation and soil erosion during project construction, the recommended roles of the Forest Department and other stakeholders during project implementation and the potential for local communities to collaborate with the Forest Department in the monitoring of the company’s performance;
- A public consultation and disclosure plan that describes the process by which the company will inform and consult stakeholders - especially those people who will be directly affected by the project - about the project, its potential impacts and planned mitigation programs; and
- A reconnaissance study of the proposed alignment of the 185 km transmission line and its possible environmental and social impacts.

The documentation also includes English and Hindi versions of an Addendum to the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Report that consolidates all public comments received as a result of the sponsor’s various public consultations. The Addendum provides the sponsor’s response to concerns raised by various stakeholders about the project and details measures taken to incorporated these concerns into project design and implementation.
