Project Description
Infra4Nigeria supports renewable energy companies participating in Nigeria’s distributed energy market to strengthen the integration of sustainability and gender inclusion into their business operations.
The project provides a structured platform that combines baseline diagnostics, peer learning, and implementation support. Participating companies define priority sustainability commitments related to workforce inclusion, productive use of energy (PUE), and impact monitoring systems.
IFC delivers structured learning sessions, practical tools, and periodic technical check-ins to help companies translate commitments into operational actions.
Follow-up assessments measure progress against baseline conditions, and knowledge materials generated through the project contribute to broader sector learning on inclusive and sustainable distributed energy practices.
