Project Description
To support Coop bank in expanding its agricultural finance portfolio, IFC will support the bank in refining its strategy and products for the Agri segment, leveraging technology and enhancing its risk management framework.

PS 1. Assessment and Management of Environmental and Social Risks and Impacts
This project will provide Advisory services support to build Coop Bank capabilities in the agri segment for the Ethiopia market. E&S risks & impacts in agri activities in Ethiopia are expected to be Medium Risk.
IFC advice will be provided in a manner consistent with the IFC applicable E&S requirements . During implementation, the project team should consult with ESG AS and involve an E&S supply chain specialist to ensure project activities are consistent IFC E&S requirements.
