Project Description
The project supports the development of Guinea's SME finance ecosystem through two main components: establishing a factoring legal and regulatory framework aligned with international best practices, and improving the enabling environment for leasing through targeted tax, regulatory, and capacity-building interventions. Activities include supporting the governement to draft model legislation and regulations, conducting stakeholder consultations, and building the supervisory capacity of relevant regulatory authorities. Financial institutions and microfinance institutions will also receive support to introduce new financing products to the market.
