Project Description
This proposed advisory project is designed to support the bank to enhance its capacity to serve women and women owned MSMEs in Kenya through staff and client training and through the design of an enhanced women value proposition.
Development Results
The project will be expected to achieve high development impact through increasing access to finance and to non-financial services for women and women owned MSMEs in Kenya.

PS 1. Assessment and Management of Environmental and Social Risks and Impacts
The impact of Environmental and Social risks is anticipated to be low. IFC will apply the principles of the relevant Performance Standards during the project implementation.
Environmental and social risks will be reviewed throughout the lifecycle of the Project. If Environmental and Social risks are identified during the implementation phase of this Project, the IFC team will assist the client in gaining a good understanding of IFC's Performance Standards and will provide recommendations for appropriate mitigation measures whenever warranted.
