Project Description
The project will assess the viability of introducing cruise tourism at Tibar Bay Port and make recommendations related to infrastructure, administrative and regulatory requirements to allow cruise tourism at Tibar Bay Port. It expects to partner with the government to help operationalize some of the recommendations.

The project aims to assess potential and necessary conditions for cruise tourism at Tibar Bay Port. The Project will result in a report with reform recommendations and the expectation to support the government to address some of the recommendations.

PS 1. Assessment and Management of Environmental and Social Risks and Impacts
As part of its Due Diligence process, and as mandated by IFCs Sustainability Policy, IFC team is screening this project to assess consistency with the IFC Performance Standards. Environmental and social risks will be further reviewed throughout the lifecycle of the project.
IFC's advice will be provided in a manner consistent with the relevant Performance Standards. The IFC team will assist the client in gaining a good understanding of IFCs Performance Standards, and provide recommendations for appropriate mitigation measures whenever warranted.
