Project Description
The project supports BTPN, one of the largest private banks in Indonesia by total assets, in conducting and review of the financed emission baseline BTPN has measured.
Development Results
The project aims to support the development of sustainable finance market as well as support BTPN and their client's transition. This project will work with BTPN to provide in-depth advisory services to identify new sustainable business sectors, build sustainability financing business model, and then scaling up by leveraging opportunities for a fully integrated sustainable financing value proposition. By the end of the project, the project aims to achieve 1 green product development.

PS 1. Assessment and Management of Environmental and Social Risks and Impacts
As part of its Due Diligence process, and as mandated by IFCs Sustainability Policy, IFC team is screening this project to assess consistency with the IFC Performance Standards. Environmental and social risks will be further reviewed throughout the lifecycle of the project.
IFC advice will be provided in a manner consistent with the principles of the relevant Performance Standards. The IFC team will assist the client in gaining a good understanding of IFCs Performance Standards, and provide recommendations for appropriate mitigation measures whenever warranted.
