Project Description
IFC will provide Post Transaction Advisory Support (PTAS) to Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagar Palika (BBMP) for one year to assist BBMP in building its institutional capacity to implement its Energy Performance Contract(EPC) with Bangalore Streetlighting Private Limited to overhaul, operate, and maintain the city’s street light infrastructure and services.
Development Results
Through this Post Transaction Advisory Support, BBMP will more effectively implement and supervise the project in line with EPC, ensuring the public-private partnership delivers on its objectives of reducing the amount of energy consumption of the city’s public street lighting, improving service delivery, making roads and streets safer and the city more energy efficient.
