Project Description
The project aims to create a pilot graduation program for women-owned micro-enterprises by providing advisory services to sectoral intermediaries/aggregators of women lenders (such as National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM), among others) and will also focus on strengthening credit linkages between the sectoral players and financial institutions.
Development Results
The project will explore working with sectoral players and one or two FIs to help increase micro-enterprise lending for WVSEs. Overall support to the women’s network will also support greater MEL financing by other FIs, thereby helping make a market-level impact.
