Project Description
The objective of the Project is to assist the Bihar State Power Transmission Company Ltd (BSPTCL), Government of Bihar (GoB) in structuring a sustainable and bankable project through private sector participation to augment and upgrade components of transmission
infrastructure in the state of Bihar.
Development Results
The successful implementation of the Project is expected to provide improved access to energy to both the residential population as well as industrial units in Bihar currently facing severe power outages. In addition, the Project will result in mobilization
of private sector investment not only in the transmission space but also in the overall energy sector in the state of Bihar
